It's all worth it!

Last April 17, 2014 I took the chance to go with my workmate and her friends to do trekking. We headed to Mount Romelo , which is situated at Siniloan, Laguna. At first, I was really nervous yet excited to have my very first adventure on a mountain. This mountain is known for its seven amazing falls. I really didnt have any idea of how I would survive staying on top of it for four days. I was introduced to a group of professional climbers and it really made me feel more excited than nervous. It was also my first time to see an alive and kicking snake... Not just once.. but twice.Thank you Lord for this amazing adventure. It's my first trek.  I am so thankful that we had Sir John, Sir Dad, and Sir Ariel as our experts who guided us on our way up Mt. Romelo. They let the rest of the group experience challenges as we explore the beauty of your terrestrial creations. I also thank mam Lukban for she invited me to be with them.

Also the kids and my tent mate Paulem for the joy and moments that I will surely treasure forever.

I will never forget how we conquered our doubts and fears as we explored Buruwisan falls and Batya-Batya falls. Oh God! I could testify how lovely these falls are.

It was a very life-risking task to reach these natural wonders. Before someone could reach them, they have to pass through deep, cold fresh water or if not, especially for non-swimmers, there's no other way but to pass on a very steep trail where only the young but sturdy roots of trees are there where you can cling to. One missed hold and you'll fall back to ground without any assurance if you would survive. (Super extra care is necessary). You could not go to the remaining five falls without passing through these two falls. This makes it more difficult yet challenging. So, Good Luck!

It was a tough climb for me (coz I'm a first-timer). But, when I reached the top and the jump-off point, I realized that life is like a journey up the mountain. It's always a difficult one but surely it's gonna be worth it.

I am looking forward to reach more summits that every explorer wishes to climb. Here I would say, I survived Mt Romelo. I love you Bro
